The Manréza Conference Center, the headquarters of the Adenovirus Meeting is located near Budapest in the middle of Pilis mountains at Dobogókő. It can be reached from Budapest by car within 40 minutes or by commuter train (HÉV) to Pomáz and from there by bus within an hour. Map
We organize transport to the Conference Center on the day of arrival (April 26) and departure (April 30) from/to Budapest + airport.
Budapest has airflight connection with every European capitals, and with many larger cities. The larger air companies have flights to Budapest from overseas. There are also flights from New York with one stop in Europe. Here you can have a look at the time table of the Hungarian airlines MALEV.
Please, try to book a flight, which arrives between 10 am and 3 pm to ensure your arrival in time to the Welcome Party on Sunday afternoon (around 6 pm).
If time allows, we suggest that you spend several days in Budapest either before of after the meeting.
|
If you need any professional help (e.g. transfer, program, tickets, guide or accommodation before and after the event), you may contact the company Metinda and they will help you.
Optional
programs during the meeting for accompanying persons:
Visegrád, Esztergom, Budapest
Please, let us know your arrival and departure time to make it possible to organize the transport (harrach@vmri.hu).
(For a departure from the airport at 9 am on the 30th of April, one has leave the hotel before or at 6 am.)
For those who arrive earlier or by train:
A bus will leave from the Batthyány tér at 15:00 hours.
Please, come here if you need a transport from the city.
One of our students will wait you there in the last 15 minutes.
(Then she/he will come with the bus to Dobogókő, too).
This place is easy
to be reached
from the town. This is the
red (No2) metro (subway) line stop called
Batthyány tér (square) at the
Danube just across the
Parliament.
Thus you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Parliament from
the parking lot while waiting for the bus. (This is the other side of the Danube, not the
Pest side where the Parlament stands!!!)
